Cycle
Cycle chooses to capture disparate fragments of existence in order to better outline its contours and understand the invisible transformations that take place within it. Behind a joyful mess that alternates between forms and genres lies a frantic quest for identity, a desire to capture the elusive as time leaves its mark on the body. A stage adaptation of artist Ruth Gwily's wordless comic book, Cycle playfully and extravagantly depicts this surreal passage from birth to death via motherhood through 62 scenes.
